WE HAVE THE RESOURCES FOR YOU !

This high tech world is going faster and faster.

At last week’s Auctions where six out of the six sold under the hammer (and another four apartments sold the same day by private treaty) we conducted transactions that are becoming quite common...

A two bedroom suite in Alpha, near SkyCity Casino went under the hammer with two bidders on the floor, a Vendor who was on the phone in a mine in Western Australia and a bidder on the phone in Whangarei (160km north of Auckland).

The bidding was pretty stop/start difficult but the Whangarei purchaser won the day. The curious thing was that neither the Vendor nor the Purchaser had ever viewed the unit. And the poor old Vendor who got “spruiked” at an Australian seminar lost serious money.

Then a very good one bedroom fully furnished suite in the Heritage Farmers sold to an investor in London (it was about one in the morning there) – he had bought two Metropolis suites off us prior and visited New Zealand twice in the past year.

Last Friday we conducted our first internet “defacto Tender” where we offered 4 Farmers carparks for sale by inviting emailed offers for a close 7 December. As our constantly updated database holds almost every apartment owner in the CBD we wrote to the owners of the 17 nearest Apartment Complexes offering the parks and directing parties to our internet site requesting offers. I also featured this on my Thursday (11.25am on 89.4fm) Leighton Smith radio talkback show as possibly New Zealand’s first Agency to call for bids online.

Our Vendor resides in Surfers Paradise and was delighted as the offers rolled in – some were at $5,000 but many over $30,000 each.

By 3pm all were sold by scanned and emailed Agreements back and forth and the Vendor sent the following comment...

“Well gentlemen, from this end the marketing process has been a pleasant experience, I thank you on behalf of my family and late father for the high level of professionalism you have demonstrated.”

Yes, I did have to read the address three times to be sure he was talking about us.

Maybe the Aussies are easier to please.

If you’re anywhere in the world talk to the Auckland Apartment experts who can get you sold no matter where you are.

And I’m damned sure there’s another satisfied client from 2007 but can’t quite remember him.

Best wishes for Christmas.
