Apartment Market Remains Robust...
We were shocked to see the publicly advertised Barfoot & Thompson sales figures for April at 43% of the previous year’s sales.
Our own figures were 85% showing that the Apartment Market is proving very robust – despite the doomsayers.
Auctions generally have two to five (yes five!) bidders on each offering and clearance rates this year remain high (32 out of 40 or 80%).
Vacancy rates are extremely low – at the time of writing we have 6 apartments vacant and rental staff desperate for stock.
There will continue to be tales of woe in the newspapers about the appalling Blue Chip debacle and people losing money but the real market is healthy.
