TAHITI ANYONE?
If you’re sick and tired of the typically New Zealand negative press how’s this for a protest?
Spending $30,000 a month consistently advertising Apartments in the NZ Herald has resulted in my being honoured with a complimentary trip for 5 days to Tahiti.
It wasn’t sour grapes but a genuine inability to be party to the “gift” that I turned the trip down.
I responded that in all honesty I could not accept the trip as the Herald lambasts my profession at every opportunity and seems hellbent on collapsing the Auckland property market – all when it is actually simply at a level off status.
I explained that we are in fact moving more and more to radio and getting serious traction here and basically….thanks, but no thanks.
Have I had a response?
No.
I would be interested in readers’ comments.
Petulant or are you as sick as we are of supporting huge marketing while being ridiculed by the medium?
With 37 sales last month (yes, down on last year) we are quite bullish about the future and see clearly a countercyclical market with massive opportunities.
Email me your thoughts.
And turn up to our fortnightly Auctions.
The Herald does (and the Sunday Star Times and often National Business Review)…
It’s the middle of Winter, raining heavily and we’re cooking with gas
