Where we have enjoyed common faces at the Auctions – wily investors building portfolios - it is now a sea of new faces and bids coming from unexpected quarters.
Is this the calm before the storm or are the politicians managing us through it?
This month our major Sunday paper vetted 11 economists on when we would start a recovery stage of the recession. The LEAST optimistic (Treasury) said the first quarter of 2010 with the rest this year!
Yes, I’m with the cynics who point out that the same economists failed to predict or warn of the worst collapse since the 1929 Great Depression.
Perhaps if you are pondering selling that apartment a call right now might prove advantageous.
