City Sales Ltd is a company of dedicated apartment realtors started from scratch on April Fool’s Day 1997 with three staff. Founder, Sole Director and 50% shareholder with his wife Shelley is Martin Dunn AREINZ. Martin pioneered the City Apartment Market from 1991 when the Auckland City Council relaxed zoning laws to allow apartments. Quickly establishing that there was an existing market of only 8 complexes comprising 226 apartments Martin concentrated on analysis and promoting City Living.A torrid period ensured where he gradually persuaded banks, valuers and many other professionals that a real appetite existed. From achieving No 1 status in New Zealand’s largest Real Estate Agency Martin set up his own Specialist City Sales to solely service this complex but hugely important market. Martin has been a Vice President of the Real Estate Institute.
City Sales comprises over 50 staff and services sales, rentals and property management. It holds a database of 21,000 apartment owners and these are often future multiple investors. They are contacted 3 monthly through a sophisticated IT Team. The Agency holds a library of every original brochure and floor plan in the CBD allowing Agents to often sell “from the Boardroom” without disturbing tenants. Similarly a free "Sales Market update" on sales in your building can be provided on request and a free Market Appraisal service is also available conditional on access.
